AISI 304L - X5CrNi18-9 - DIN 1.4307

304L grade is similar to 304, with lowered Carbon (C) content. 304L is preferred for its better resistance of intergranular corrosion.

It is resistant to corrosion in natural waters and urban atmosphere. Heat resistance, forgeability and machinability are similar to 304. Weldability is excellent in 304L.
