AISI 321 - X6CrNiTi18-10 - DIN 1.4541
321 grade is within austenitic stainless steels group, and is stabilised with Titanium (Ti).
Corrosion resistance is similar to 304L grade, and it is resistant to natural waters. Intergranular corrosion resistance is superior due to Titanium (Ti) addition.
Formability and weldability is good in 321 grade, similar to other austenitic grades. Machinability and forgability is low. Heat resistance is up to 900°C.
This grade is non magnetic in annealed condition. 321 grade is not polishable, therefore not suitable for decorative purposes.
Alternative grades: AISI 316Ti
Available forms: Round Bars, Flat Bars, Hexagon Bars, Coils, Sheets, Strips, Welded Tubes, Seamless Tubes, Profiles, Fittings.
